Our family tradition was to snip & clip (not for religous reasons). Grandson, now 2 1/2, first male left intact to claim that extra 90%. Son & DIL decided it was too barbaric and totally unnecesary. In the States we've always been told that it is done to maintain long-term health and better hygiene. In reality, knowing what I now do, it was an "extra" procedure devised to create additional income for doctors generations back.

I actually have a friend who was intact until he was 19 then had to be snipped for health reasons. I will have to ask him about it ...

My wife when we were first together thought I had some weird accident & had the top lopped off... obviously she had never encountered a foreskin before...
Didn't take too long for her to find out what was what tho' .

Now for some other 4skin stuff:

My uncle had his nipped when he was 23 years old due to medical problems, turned out to be kidney stones that caused the problem (this was about 50 years ago btw)...
He suffered badly from the operation & it left him in a bad way for 15 more years before having to have a corrective procedure to remove excessive scar tissue.

I'm glad I have mine, I can hide one of my tattoos when I use a public bathroom

I had a pal who circumcised himself at a party FOR A LAUGH! What he did was slip two coins under the foreskin then cut around with a razor. If there had been a terrorist bomb at the party that night it would still be the circumcision that people would remember... haha

THAT is INSANE! Why would you do that? That's worse than getting tattooed whilst inebriated.
