Happy 4th of July

Post by Skylace »

Hope you all have a wonderful and safe 4th. We're not doing much because the 4th has never been the same for me since my father passed away. However, we're going to have a nice cookout and relax in the pool and catch some of the fireworks from the casino

Happy 4th Sky. I know your thoughts are on your dad and your loss. I've so been there. The glass is always half full girl. If you're moving to Pennsylvania you're going to the Cradle of Liberty, and that's what the 4th is all about!

Turner Classic Movies is airing the musical 1776 tonight. It's adorable. No sex, violence or chase scenes. Just a cute musical. Check it out.

Happy Fourth everyone!! 231 years old today....I always try to remember how old the country is so that I don't feel so old when my birthday roles around a couple of days later. 45 doesn't look so bad when compared to 231!

We had a lovely evening last night watching the fireworks, and listening to a band in a local bar. Got a bit drunk - have to admit, but a good evening.

We're having our party this Saturday - bbq cookout with friends & some neighbours.

Hope you all had/have fun.
