Although it's an interesting read, I must question the motivation behind this article, since it is comng from NY Times. Even if I disregard their records telling half truths, they, in some ways, are in competition with Murdoch's empire. Blame my pessimism, not me

i understand that ash, they are of course in direct competition with murdochs new york post ( and i'm not sure who owns the ny times ) - but like you say interesting read.

pessimism is a good thing with all mainstream media
