Songs you know ALL the words to.

So, what song(s) when it comes on the radio do you know EVERY single word for without thinking?

Mine - Night boat to Cairo by Madness. And possibly most songs by Madness. :blanklook:

I am suitably humbled by your knowledge, especially knowing the words to "I'm getting married in the morning" - a personal favourite of mine that I attempt to sing after copious amounts of fine old Scotch. shedabadahoooooooo.......ah.

 I love music and listen to the stuff again and again. I tend to learn things better with singing also. I'd teach my kids songs for everything, even how to spell my last name. And it usually makes it stick.

The only reason I know "I'm Getting Married in the Morning" is because of Frank Sinatra. I know quite a few of his songs as well.

For me, a lot of pop tunes from the 80's and 90's. Soundtracks from Grease, The Sound of Music, My Fair Lady....... corny, I know but, music makes those household chores much easier to tolerate and go by faster.

I was a record shop girl for 5 years so I know WAY TOOOOO many songs ... much to my children's dismay. (I love to sing in the car) Rap, rock, punk, country, classic, musical, showtunes, Streisand, Milli Vanilli, Ice-T, Ice Cube, Travis Tritt, Randy Travis ... - you name it. Ever hear of that show "Name that tune"? I could identify songs by the WRONG lyrics too! a kid came in once and asked for "you know the song that goes "Watch out while I catch that bus!" somehow I figured out it was Hendrix "Kiss the sky" ... the only thing that trips me up is foreign language ...

Elton John - anything prior to "Blue Moves". It doesn't matter how long it has been since I heard the song, I just jump right in like I sing it every day.
