Wow, I'd kill for that!

I have a crappy old Dell Dimension 2300, and it's un-upgradable, apparently, so if I want a better setup I'll have to buy a totally new PC. *bashes head on desk*

Cool. Yeah, i wasn't sure where to post it. Glad i know where it is now though so i can edit with future ammendments. Just had to change the case because the one i originally chose was HUGE. This one is smaller and about £50 cheaper, which enabled me to get a better mouse and still save money :)

Griffo,

(If you haven't already), check ebuyer.com. They seem to be providing computer goodies at a chepaer prices quite consistently than most online retailers.

I've bought few things (printer, hardrives, lots of dual-layer blank (DVD+R) media, usb DVB tv-card etc) from them and their products are really good. I'll be getting one of those 500 GB soon that they are selling for about 70 quids.

I'm also thinking of getting a new rig (probably next year). But this time, i'll to try get a quad-core with video card with HDCP compatiblilty and HDMI connection.

If you still have a few pounds to spare, I would protect that beast with a battery backup. I bought a Belkin 1500 some time ago, and have no complaints.
