I'm not watching it, but I'll probably grab it from 4OD in the next few days.

Ashdown seems to be looking at the injustice of the situation fairly.

BTW, is the program you have to install to watch 4oD unobtrusive? (I've reached the point where I hate to install new things.)

I wouldn't have a clue. All I know is I have it and it's changed nothing on my computer.

yeh, george just mentioned it on the show, as it went through i thought paddy did quite a good job. He made some good points about the counter-productivity of house demolitions and the 'wall', and that sows hate. good on 'im!

I wish i had channel 4. I don't get C4 using my USB connected (DVB) TV Card.

If anyone is aware of any source where I can the main tv stream let me know. I'll do an encode and share it with all.

Oh, thanks for the info about the programme, 4oD, which i wasn't aware of.

I don't think it will be repeated - though maybe on E4 I suppose.

I managed to find a full-fat version of the programme, but it's 1.3gb so I'm converting it down - I'll upload it tonight...

I think you're referring the 1.35 xvid.avi version that I also saw @ UKN. I've asked one of my friends to get it for me. If he doesn't, then i'll get it later.

did anyone watch the second part of the show with Rod Liddle, he's an "ardent supporter" of Israel but had his pre-conceptions changed throughout the show as he saw what was going on in the occupied territories, i think it was better than the paddy ashdown one, really insightful.

I'm just about finished watching the whole first programme now myself and I have to say that I recommend it highly to anyone. It explains so many facets of the Jewish/Arab situation in Jerusalem that I simply didn't understand before.

While this means that I understand the Jewish position better, it also emphasises my lack of support for those who think they should take things back just because their most ancient cultural (not necessarily genetic) predecessors may have been there.

The only way forward is through acceptance on both sides.

A great documentary.
