Posting the radio shows on OneBigTorrent

I've just announced on another tracker that i'm not allowed to mention here for what reason I don't know, that I'm no longer providing my service because of your dedication and uploading to the onebigtorrent tracker.

Thats a shame I find the mp3 format convenient.

Sorry, I didn't see this earlier - did you add it on? I totally understand this and I realised this from Faceless' first post. I know what that feels like. I'm sad he has given up so quickly and disappointed in the 'expectation' of thanks.

With regard to my recordings being used elsewhere, I'm not wanting any credit. They're galloway's shows after all and I'm happy to get his views out there just as much as the good people here are. I just set my computer to record, spend a little time editing and then upload them.

I can certainly understand your reaction, faceless.

The only way bittorrent works is if people are willing to give back (at least) as much as they get. Otherwise, they are reaping the benefits without paying any price; it's like dining-and-dashing.

I do frequent chomskytorrents now and then. I've even contributed torrents, but the one which took the most work (a 600 MB torrent of Galloway episodes) suffered the same result. Once peoples' downloads were done, they just took off.

A ratio system is a must.

I changed 'wanker' to 'arse' after about 10 seconds of having posted that, yet you took 23 minutes to reply? I can only guess that in that period your righteous indignation was flaring rapidly and you finally edited that back to just a command. Pity you've left or you'd be able to answer... I close accounts after about 3 weeks of inactivity - deleting them just makes the place look untidy.

I'm sure you'd understand if you ran your own site.

On the original point
uploading to a site that you dont have to register for to download from attracts leachers.

It also looks like the torrent has been linked to a dump site like TPB, as the downloaded figure does'nt match the completed figure.

There is a massive ownership problem going on there.

I was just sent this as a quote from "uknova". It's a pity he won't be so cutting here, where I can respond to him! Pete, I was banned for less from that site - while your account is still open here... strange that eh? I'm informed also that there are 22 seeders from 23 downloaders on your torrent on that site where ratios are observed. Are you pretending not to understand the point deliberately?

The fact you edit the words I used is pretty pathetic too - do "bad" words scare you?
