This is abuse of the system. As a judge, he ought to know better. I hope this goes to trial and the jury awards the $65M to the cleaner.

This should go in the absolutely absurd file. What a waste of our judicial resources.

My local dry cleaners would have sorted this out by now by a swift kick in the bollox. Wanker.

I'd like to point out that this guy dispite having the title Judge is not a judge in a court room...

I have not read the full story & to be honest it's too crazy for me to want to read much about it.

I did hear a bit on the news last night where it was said that he is doing this to proove a point & perhaps set a new set of rulings into the law books...
Ohh & to cover fee's.

This judge should be kicked in the arse and sent on his way after paying court for fileing a frivolous law suit and the cost of the other peoples lawyers and without his pants. :nyer:

I wouldn't say we're exactly in a "bashing" mood ---- this guy certainly deserved it.

I will agree that some lawyers do pad their bills, but to be fair most don't. I have a friends who are lawyers and they honestly would never do that. I think it's a few rotten apples ruining it for the bunch.

I have a fair amount of friends who are lawyers .. and it isn't an easy profession. The top guys & girls rake it in .. and everyone else is scrapping around ... and especially trying to cope with clients who don't pay.

p.s. I LOVED "LA Law" .. and "The Practice"

I loved the Practice too until they spun it into Boston Legal.
