Yes, but this actually tastes NICE. It's so creamy, a bit like Baileys but made with rum instead of Whiskey.

Myself, I'm allergic to egg yolks but make the family Egg Nog at Xmas...

How ever BAT, as you can get decent absinth & absinthe, there is a cocktail from switzerland that contains both egg & absinth called an " Absinthe Flip "

1/2 oz. Absinthe
1/2 OZ. Cointreau
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 small egg
1 teaspoon sugar
grated nutmeg

Shake ingredients well with ice. Strain into a pre-chilled Delmonico glass. Sprinkle nutmeg on top.

Another being:

" Green Fairy "
1 shot Absinthe
1 shot Water
1 shot fresh lemon juice
2 or 3 teaspoons sugar
2 teaspoons egg white
Dash Angostura Bitters
Method: Shake thoroughly and strain into a cocktail glass.

A few of the Swiss one's mostly called "Swiss Girls or Suisse maids" contain egg.
Some call for just the yolk, most are just egg whites...
