Serenity named top sci-fi movie

Post by Lostinthestates »

I actually never even heard of this film before! I can't believe it actually beat Star Wars to top spot. I did think that Star Wars I-III did suck big time but the original films were pure class!

I've not heard of it myself and am also surprised.

I didn't like the "first" three episodes of Star Wars but the originals are the best to me. They've left quite an impression on me, in ink as a matter of fact

hee hee. I have a beautiful red, rebel alliance insignia on my personImage (for those who may not remember it)
It's one of the two tattoo's I have. The other isn't Star Wars related.

I have always been far too sissy to have a tatoo done to me! Too scared of the pain! :D

Right i went to see Serenity in the cinema when it was out and i cant believe this has been voted above anything never mind Star Wars. I'm not the biggest sci fi fan, but I do love Star Wars I was falling asleep during this film. It was terrible.

I thought it would have decent action scenes, but they weren't that good. All you had was everyone fussing over some alanis morrisette lookalike, who was pretty much against talking, with the odd cheesy joke thrown in for good measure. When it ended i actually thought................what the feck is that it?.

I heard it was once a tv show and most probably has a cult following, but this film is the biggest pile of poo you will ever watch. If you disagree i will fight you .

Youngsters these days have no taste :x

Are you talking about the original films or the remake? The original ones scared the living crap out of me! I was much younger though in those days :D

Ah...Dark Star. Loved that movie. The beach ball alien lacks something compared to todays special effects though, and you just can't beat a talking bomb.
