Superbowl XLI

Post by maycm »

Superbowl XLI ... The title kind of reminds me of Fireball XL5...oops that dates me, I was very very young.

Anyhoo, I'm not a big fan of American "football" but I'm still watching this game. Seeing the Colts come back to win the previous game (the first game I saw all year) was exciting, so I'm rooting for them, though It's not started too well so far...down 14-9 right now.

The funniest thing in the coverage so far is watching those blinking disembodied heads pop up when they want to talk about a specific player. Spooky!

oh fuck, Prince is singing along with a marching band accompaniment... how the mighty have fallen. As one of the best producers ever it's painful to see!

They think it's all over .... etc etc....

A fine victory for the Colts, although I thought the ending was rather subdued. Perhaps they all wanted to get it over with and out of the rain.

@ Faceless... Score m8.
Pretty low scores at that....
Not hard to have double them scores in a game... again, it's like kindergarten rugby for kids with A.D.D...

===============================

As for Prince....
Not as bad as Sir Paul playing & certainly no wardrobe malfunctions...
It wasn't too shabby 1/2 time show wise in that weather.

The game itself yesterday... SUCKED, but then I tend to feel the same about the game in general all year.
