Cancelling AOL - The Interview

Post by Kezza »

As a follow-up to the "Cancelling AOL" thread, here's an interview with Vincent Ferrari (cool name, eh?) conducted by Matt Lauer of NBC's "Today Show".

nice one, though I don't reckon the guy should have been sacked like a sacrificial lamb - that implies that it was not company policy, and I don't believe that for a minute.

Just think of how many people "John" stopped from cancelling... I'd say he's a good employee if you're a ruthless corporation - his only crime was to be the one that was caught (though he is still a dick!)

Good point. I'm sure there were many people who didn't stand their ground..... I sure hope that they weren't doing automatic debit or credit card payments - that would be a nightmare!

Thanks for sharing that Kezza.

Even though the guy working for AOL was totally annoying, he was most likely following the rulebook of AOL in keeping customers. I think it was a bit unfair he was sacked but I'm sure he'll get another job quick enough. I just hope it's nowhere I call!
