THREE men tried to dig up a young woman?s grave ? so they could have sex with her corpse.

The depraved trio even stopped at a supermarket on their way to the cemetery to buy CONDOMS.

Police said Nicholas Grunke hatched the sick plan with pals after seeing a newspaper obituary photo of pretty Laura Tennessen, 20, who was killed in a motorbike accident on August 27.

Grunke, twin brother Alexander and pal Dustin Radke ? all 20 ? planned to take her body to his house.

Locals alerted cops to a disturbance at the graveyard in Cassville, Wisconsin, US, and by the time they arrived the grave had been partially dug up.

Police say they found Alexander clad in black, sweating profusely at 10pm on Saturday. The other two fled but were arrested the next day.

The men, who did not know the woman, were charged with attempted grave robbery, attempted sexual assault and attempted theft.

They will appear in court next week and face up to five years in jail and a ?7,000 fine if guilty.
