Something worse than snake bite

NEW YORK (Reuters) -- Working with snakes can be more hazardous than you thought -- but it's not their bite that's the problem.

"It's the poop," Jules Sylvester, head animal trainer for the new Hollywood movie "Snakes on a Plane" said Monday at a news conference to publicize the film.

"They will poop everywhere," he added.

But when snakes are on a movie set, everyone behaves, Sylvester said.

"It's ideal for the director," he said.

The movie, starring about 500 snakes and Samuel L. Jackson, opens in U.S. theaters Friday after receiving wide publicity on the Internet.

I think this movie is one of those ..."go see it - it's so bad, it's good" types.

Unfortunately, I suspect it will be "they said it was bad, and it is"

I think the only thing this film will have going for it is Samuel L. Jackson and the title!
At least they didn't call it "Shit On A Plane" (even though it probably is)

I remember when I was working on an Indiana Jones movie in Elstree...
We had a shit load of snakes & assorted insects...

A lot of them escaped & caused quite a stir...

Indeed, people did tend to be very quiet & watched their every move on set... not as much as they did when it was discovered that a quantity had gotten out...

A few people wound up cameramen etc with rubber snakes for the next few weeks... in fact, a few dif' movies after that too.

LOL that cracked me up! 'shit on the plane'

I was listening to the radio the other day and they were saying there's loads of mice on planes. I never knew that and still don't know if I believe it, then they were saying something about snakes on the plane and I didn't realise they were talking about a film until I saw the ad for it. It looks completely stupid but I'll be seeing it for sure because I love wasting my time on shite lol

I have a 7 and a half foot Boa and she does shit quite a lot. Than God she's in a huge assed tank or I'd be stepping in snake shit all the day long.
