STEPHEN KING’S “CELL” MOVIE COMING
zombieresearchsociety.com
Stephen King’s bestselling novel Cell is being adapted for the big screen, with John Cusack set to star. Paranormal Activity 2 director Tod “Kip” Williams will helm the project slated to start shooting in September.

In Cell a struggling artist fights for survival after a signal sent out over the global cell phone network suddenly turns people into mindless zombie-like killers. A film adaptation has been in the works for years now, with Eli Roth originally set to direct the film back in 2007.. Cell will be Cusack’s third Stephen King adaptation after Stand By Me and 1408.

-------------------

I read the book and it was pretty good, though a lot of the plot was very similar to his previous bestseller The Stand. Still, like most of his stories, it's worth the time if you like his stuff
