This story has brought some choice characters out of the woodwork, that's for certain.

On the positive side, the Grand Jury has (apparently) finally agreed on a charge for Zimmerman. Although it's not clear what the exact charge is.

Zimmerman has been Charged with 2nd degree Murder ...when I heard that ...I had a tear in my Eye for his parents thats all they wanted ...for him to be Charged.... The Road will be long and heavy now .....I Pray ....and I do Pray that Justice will be served .... As a Mother a grandmother and a Human ....

To correct my previous post, it seems the decision to lay a charge and which charge to lay was made by the State Prosecutor's office and not by a Grand Jury.

This story has featured extensively on Democracy Now again today.
