Mexican War Streets House Tour

This is the area we moved to originally when we got to Pittsburgh. We rented a lovely Victorian there. Sadly, when we were looking for a house to buy there weren't many available in the area and those that were didn't fit our needs. It really is a great area with a massive sense of community, especially for a place in the city.

Last year I just went through the house tour but this year I helped with the WOW's (Women of the War Streets) bake sale. We raised money for local charities.

The Monterey Pub shown in the video is one place you can usually be sure to find me on Friday night. (apologies for the ads at the beginning of the video)

looks a really nice place - it reminds me a bit of certain areas in London. If I'm ever in town on a Friday night I'll be the guy wanting cider at the bar!

Nice to see what you were telling me about. The houses look very similar to yours outside ---- although I'm not sure I would want all those people traipsing through my home. I can see how you would get tons of design ideas though.

Do they always do it at this time of year? I may have to come take the walk with you next year! That looks awesome...and I am always up for a pint.
