Here's a great program for getting all the news feeds that you want to a desktop program. If you're not sure what this is then it's basically just text alerts that are quickly stored for you to check. You can pick all sorts of insluded feeds and also add any that you have already.

I'm sure those of you who have the sense to get things organised already have something like this, but it's new to me and this one is free and easy to use.
