Eid Mubarak (Greetings) to your all. May Allah Swt shower you with patience, blessings and knowledge

This is the 2nd Eid, when millions of people also perform Haj. It is also known as Eid Al Adjhaa

I wish all my DEAR counchtrippers happy and peaceful times with your family and friends during the holiday period and afterwards. As usual, those who know me and in East Midland, are always welcome to my house.

I hope and pray that those of us who haven't been to Makkah for Haj yet can go there as soon as possible and accept pilgrimages of those who've already been there.

No idea what this is all about except one of the guy's at work was fasting for a couple of days.

Bat: yes, it's a tradition to fast during this Arabic month (Dhul Hijja)- except for today (Eid day) and the next two day (in fact you're forbidden to fast for these 3 days - it's a time for celebration. But it's not mandatory like the month-long fasting during (the month of) Ramadan. I fasted only for a day.

I'm planning for a week long trip to london. But I'll have to reschedule a hospital appointment . Will stay at my aunt's- will eat, sleep and watch tv. i can't wait. i need a proper break from university
