How depressing - I was genuinely impressed by her.

I think drugs are used pretty heavily in athletics! There is a reason why the Russians and the other Eastern European women where so amazing during the cold war and now are at best average! Truly agree with you face!

To be honest though, locking someone up for a crime that doesn't have a victim as such (disappointment doesn't count!) is just stupid. Giving her 800 hours community service too - ffs. For that much I'd expect to have at least punched George Bush in the face!

Face for the most part, I agree with you on the sentence. But as my husband reminded me, all of her co-US Olympic Relay Team-members have now lost their gold medals and have now too been wiped off the Olympic record books. If I was one of these team mates, having spent many years training for the Olympics, you're fucking A right I'd want her to do hard time breaking rocks on a chain gang.

that would be disappointing, but I'm sure the millions they make in prize money and endorsements will have cushioned the blow a fair bit.
