If you ever had a computer in the 80s (mostly Commodore 64 in this case), then some of these remixes will bring a smile to the face. Considering the limitations of the SID chip in that computer there were some brilliant musicians using it, most notably Rob Hubbard and Martin Galway in my book.
Here are some of the best mixes I've found from the list... I'd link them all direct but some of the keyboard characters don't work in the forum. Remember that the original tunes that these remixes are from were written in the mid 80s, well before electronica/techno became even close to being in the mainstream.
Peter Mörck - Auf wiedersehen Monty (Oberheim edit).mp3
Magnus 'Komet' Lindberg - Delta (reconstruction mix).mp3
O2 - Human Race (Rob Hubbard)
Instant Remedy - Comic Bakery (Martin Galway)
I'll add more to this thread later

This is quite something for anyone who ever played a Llamasoft game. I met him once at a computer expo in London around 1985 and thought he was pretty decent.
In this video Jeff describes how he wrote the original music visualisation routines which are in Windows Media Player and also the one that's in the 360. That's quite a legacy without a doubt!
you can get new versions of his games here, on his surprisingly bland website...

This is what Dark Side of the Moon would sound like if it was on the Nintendo NES

It's probably done as a SID (C64 soundchip) or MOD (tracker) file, so using a disassembler you should be able to hack it out if you know how... though you could just record it as a wav/mp3 if you set your recording properties to wav - it's usually set to mic as standard.
