Tampa Bay Rays
I am not a baseball fan by any stretch of the imagination, but in the spirit of sports and our sports community, I offer a heartfelt "Kudos" to the Tampa Bay Rays. They are the first team in MLB history to come from 9 games back in August/September to win themselves a wild card spot in the playoffs! It was a stressful evening for many of my friends, but I think they are all ok with it today. The best part of the whole thing from my perspective? We had to win, but Boston also had to lose...and lose they did! After the Eastern Conference Finals last year, it ALWAYS does my heart good to see a Boston team go down.
