Thanks, Sky, that's what I was looking for.

That is the theory some people have as to why McCain wanted the debate pushed back. He used the idea of the bail out but in actuality it was because he wanted the Presidential debates and the VP debates to take place on the same night. That way people would have paid more attention to the McCain/Obama debate and not paid much attention to the Palin/Biden debate. I find this theory quite feasible. Especially since he brought it up after this interview had been recorded but before it aired.

They will be prepping her big time now. And in all honesty Biden is going to have to be very careful and not be too aggressive or it won't go over well either. Instead, it would be best for him to keep giving her the rope she is already using to hang herself.

when is the palin/biden debate sky? i think it could be quite funny ...
Capitol Hill sources are telling me that senior McCain people are more than concerned about Palin. The campaign has held a mock debate and a mock press conference; both are being described as “disastrous.” One senior McCain aide was quoted as saying, “What are we going to do?” The McCain people want to move this first debate to some later, undetermined date, possibly never. People on the inside are saying the Alaska Governor is “clueless.”
:)

i find it hard to believe they didn't check her for stuff like this before

It is supposed to be next October 2, next Thursday.

I am not shocked that they didn't check this stuff before either. It's been talked about already a lot over here. McCain has never really met with her before he picked her, her background wasn't even really checked out, any of it. Her inexperience was all over the news right after her name was announced. Basically they wanted a conservative female, hoping it would appease the Clinton supporters. His bumpers stickers should read McCain/Vagina or better yet Cunt/Cunt.

She is doing more for Obama's campaign than anyone else! She is just clueless, although McCain is not much better. They would be foolish to tamper with the date of the debate after McCain's "I think we should wait until we have a bailout answer" tactics. They made him look foolish and scared and will do the same, if not worse, for her. She is better off just getting it over with. Joe is going to show the American public how weak she really is!

Here's a send-up of that interview, courtesy (again) of "Saturday Night Live's" Tina Fey & Amy Poehler:
