No charges related to anti-semitic remarks. :enough:

He's got off lightly IMHO.
Another case of 'them and us' :grr:

One thing I hate about this country is how weak they are on punishing drunk drivers :grr: and of course if you're famous or have money it's pretty easy too!

This is what he got as punishment
Superior Court Judge Lawrence Mira ordered Gibson to attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings five times a week for four and a half months and three times a week for the remainder of the first year of his probation. He was fined $1,300 and his license was restricted for 90 days
That's pretty lame

What a crazy rant. Why did this Joe fella keep going back? And why, oh WHY would he bring his family after the previous blow ups? I fault him for some if it. He should have kept his family away since he already knew how Mel could be...but, yeah, Mel needs serious help.

I agree with Spurs, but I'd keep myself away as much as my family. Doesn't matter how much I'd be owed or how much work already done. A waste of time is a waste of time, and Mel according to this letter, is at the very least a waste of time.

This Eszterhas character seems to be an embittered arsehole who only responded after it became clear the film wasn't going to be made. No doubt that Gibson comes across as mental, but why did this other guy go to stay with him twice?

Bollocks!
