I heard this earlier - a BBC world service feature about violence in ice hockey.

It should work everywhere.

Last regular season game for the Lightning on the road in Winnipeg. No playoffs for us until we fix our goaltending issues. It is sad to see the boys end their season on the road, but at the last home game, they gave away the jerseys off their backs and my friend won one. Very exciting indeed, and with the end of our season always comes the promise of next season. I am going to have to look at who has made it from the East. I can't support Rangers (Sorry Pirty) or Florida, but I will have to support someone or the playoffs won't be any fun. Defo pulling for the Chicago Blackhawks from the West. Playoffs begin on 4/11 -- Should be fun!

Just watching the last game for the Leafs, and well, for the Habs as well. Nothing like ending the season with a game between the two last place teams.

Supporting the Canucks for the playoffs :)

We are up 2-0 and I am hoping that Stamkos has a chance to get one more as that will give him 60 for the season. Our two goals tonight are by one of our....oh, change that 2-1 now....solid 2nd line forwards, Teddy Purcell. Hopefully Steven has one in him to reach that milestone.

Well we ended the season with 84ish points, Steven Stamkos got his 60th goal and we beat Winnipeg in overtime with a Teddy Purcell goal, his third of the evening, which gave him his 2nd hattrick for the season. Whew....Kudos to the Winnipeg Jets fans for the standing ovation they gave Stammer for his 60th. Class...
