Yeah, he started being that way a few years ago when they relaunched their new ad campaign.
However, here in America we are having a new 'British Invasion'. In our ads. Almost every break there is at least one ad that has someone with a faux English accent.

Do you have the "The box says Shut up Steve!" Multigrain Cheerios guy? We have the british commercial here but then some idiots decided to dub with North American voices (horrible!!!) then went back to the british people. Not sure if this airs in the U.S. or not (never know where the satellite feed is coming from!)
