sorry love :wow:

it's just not often I see Celtic doing well like this - especially against such mighty opposition.

both teams are still going through though - and as someone on this Scottish football show said last night "Man U want Celtic in the next round so they've got small time opposition!"... and I think the Reds certainly did play better tonight. Almost every time I looked Celtic were on the backfoot.

Well not to use excuses but being honest it was another tactical disaster by Ferguson playing Rooney out on the wing. Very poor performance creating no chances. Celtic were worse but they got lucky. I'm coming down from my snit and trying to look at it logically :sherlock:

Actually I'm over it now. I washed the tears off my Man Utd jersey and it's back hanging up waiting for the next match......and speaking of jerseys, Celtic has some horrible looking ones don't they?

I hate Celtic too.

Hopefully the loss will spur United on to beat Chavski on Sunday.

What about the Manu -Chelski game...

Going to be a good one....I am sure those blue's will be falling over their own feet (or anyone elses) trying to get a penalty or free kick..

Seems only manu play fair these days....
Going to be a nice 2-0 to the red's I think! Cant wait to see what excuse chelski will use after the game....(They allways have one)

you were doing so well until this point!

Celtic beat Man U through the individual skills of Nakamura and Boruc and brilliant team spirit from the rest, and that's all there is to it - Man U did the usual and just assumed they were going to win, sitting on their big fat bastard laurels too much and then beaten by a team who showed more spark in the last 10 minutes.

How many of you Man U fans are actually from Manchester I wonder?

Hi Faceless

I am.......

Used to live there ( well in Manchester, not Old Trafford) before I moved abroad.....And yes I did go to the games as well!

It was a good free kick from Nakamura, a good old scot name if ever I heard one!

U from Glasgow I presume ?

We only need a point so hopefuly we will be ok...

Barry

Think I picked on the wrong club! He'll be changing my posts and putting "I Love Celtic" in my posts

ok, I'll let you off - but you must be the only Man U fan I've ever spoken to who is actually from Manchester!

I'd say it doesn't matter where the players are from as long as they fit with the mentality of the team and fans - and the more Nakamura scores goals like that, the more of a Tim he becomes... Larsson was our top player for a few years - and while he was Swedish he was definitely a Celt!

Yeah that Larsson was a great player. No offence but shame he did not play in prem...Playing the mighty Livinstone on a weeknight must of been grim for him!!!

Is he still at Barca? or long moved on?

I'd love to see barca play, don't think they come to OZ much?!!

If he wanted to be just another name then yeah, he should have played in england and been average. But he chose to play at Celtic because it's a great club with a fantastic support and he could play in front of 67000 fans each week (Celtic Park can hold more people than *any* stadium in England).

He is still playing for Barcelona as far as I know - he even got cheered by the Celtic fans when the teams met last year. How often does that happen?
