Here's the Finnish entry - I think they need to drop the violin solo near the end...

I watched this at the time and had no idea he wasn't meant to be part of the act! The Spanish act was so shite that it made perfect sense... haha

I should have put money on the British entry coming last as it was really pish. Still, it got what it deserved!

The Germans won, UK came last and Ireland did only slightly better. I watched the voting, but felt I had earned the right to not have to listen to any of the songs, by virtue of the fact that I like music. So congratulations Germany and I can't be bothered to say any more about this. I'm going to start a new thread about the World Cup.

Some of them were ok really - the Irish woman could at least hold a note and the song was well produced. So many others were utter crap, and they were the ones which had got through the semi-finals!

Of course, the winner should have been Armenia - songs about apricots are sadly lacking in the global cultural arena... here's the singer, Eva Rivas.

Thanks Face for streaming it! I lost my connection during the Spain act. I thought at first you shut it off because you couldn't stand Spain, but then I noticed I wasn't getting any juice...lol! Is it true the Germans won? The ones I was rooting for? Wow! I am good at picking Euro talent! lol!!
